The Calgary Roughnecks are well known for the ‘party atmosphere’ at their home games—so much so that they refer to their home games as parties.
From their traditional pre-game ‘happy hour’ and entertainment on the concourse, to the “Vamonos Vamonos” dance for every Roughnecks goal—theirs is a truly unique fan experience.

The 2024-25 Calgary Roughnecks Brand Toolkit captures this uniqueness through energetic, unexpected visuals with disruptive displaced text. The gritty, full-throttle action of gameplay is expressed through bold red brushstroke accents and selective blurs.

Theme games, which are another celebrated Roughnecks tradition, use expanded colour palettes for the brand assets, bringing an extra layer to visuals.

Theirs is a truly captivating brand, and it’s a pleasure to bring it to life.
